for your clinical trials
IMITS transfer-solution makes it simple to manage clinical trials in the field of medical imaging. A powerful and completely configurable platform allows for easy management of multi-center trials in one innovative, unified cloud architecture.
Our Transfer Solution is cloud-based convenient secure
Our Solution
Fully Cloud-based solution
As the IMITS Transfer® is web-based, no special configurations or alterations in hospital firewalls are required. The system works both for Windows and Mac computers.
Anonymized transfer of images
IMITS Transfer® uses an e-CRF system enabling a secure and professional work process. The medical images are anonymized during upload and transfer.
Role-Based Access
Different user levels are designed in the system, to address the role of the user. From assigned full access for administrators to part of access for specific users.
High Availability and Uptime
High operational performance of transfer-solution to ensure continuous availability.
Users and Trials
IMITS is used by ImaCor AB, a company that serves as a CMR Core laboratory in different clinical multi-center trials since 2010. These trials are centered on quantitative assessment of the effect of new therapies in acute myocardial infarction.
The services performed by ImaCor include site training, reviewing of CMR data for quality control and quantification of the CMR outcome variables (infarct size, myocardium at risk, myocardial salvage, myocardial salvage index, microvascular obstruction and left ventricular function).
Clinical trials where IMITS is used:

About the Company
IMITS (International Medical Image Transfer System) has been developed by Imacor AB, a company formed by members of the Cardiac MR group at Lund University, Sweden.
Imacor was founded in order to meet the markets´ increased demand for unbiased evaluation of medical images for medical and scientific purposes. As a result, IMITS Transfer software was developed and its features are continuously quality improved through the ongoing use in clinical trials. Imacor personnel using IMITS all have a thorough scientific track record.
ImaCor AB provides core lab services to clients such as public and private organizations engaging in medical or scientific activities. Through IMITS the acquired CMR data will be transferred electronically to the core laboratory.
The image repository database has a web-interface to allow users to monitor upload progress, for quality review, or monitor patient enrollment. As the IMITS Transfer software utilizes direct access to the HTTP port for image transfer, no special configurations or alterations in hospital firewalls are required.
